As part of our after sales support we offer a repair service to our customers.
As part of our after sales support we offer a repair service to our customers. This means that if a customer returns a Rotary Union to us at Filton we will strip it to identify any components which need replacing or refurbishing.
At this point we will send a repair quotation to our customer. In some situations the cost of the components needed to repair the union would make it uneconomical. In this case we will contact the customer with the price for a replacement instead.
Alternatively, the customer may feel they have the knowledge or an experienced maintenance engineer to repair the Rotary Union themselves. In this situation we can supply a kit to do this, which may be replacing the seals or bearings. However, most components can be individually purchased.
We also have installation and maintenance sheets for all of our standard Rotary Unions, these show a breakdown of the Rotary Union, overhaul procedure and installation and maintenance guidelines, please refer to the ‘Repair’ section on our website for more details.
We have Design Engineers who will talk you through the options to assist you to repair onsite or advise whether it is best for you to return the rotary union to us for us to inspect.
As another option our Technical Engineer visits our UK customers, whilst onsite with a customer he can talk you through the options or explain how the repair can be done.
