Filton Rotary Unions in the Textile Industry
Monday 17th February 2020
Take a look at how our Unions are used in the Textile Industry.
Filton Rotary Unions are used within the Textile Industry; they are usually found on dry cans, where the Filton Rotary Union is used to heat up the Rotary Steam can/ roller.
Rotary Unions will be used on a Rotary Steam Can/Roller where steam is used to help heat the rollers. This allows the material to dry as it passes over the steam cans/rollers. Steam is introduced via the Rotary Union into the Steam Can/Roller and condensate is taken out. The Textile industry is a large user of Water, Steam and Hot Oil Unions. Weaving, Dyeing and Finishing textile companies are the biggest users of Rotary Unions.
