Monday 21st October 2019
When we ask for Working Conditions, would you know what information we require?
When wishing to purchase a Rotary Union it will come in handy to know what the Working Conditions are. If the Rotary Union you are replacing is not a Filton it will help us identify the best option for you and your application.
When we ask for Working Conditions, would you know what information we require? Is it information you would have to hand?
Listed below is the information that will help us determine the best option for your application;
- Medium to be passed through the Rotary Union – This could be air, water, steam, oil, etc..
- Working pressure – Measured in either psi or bar
- Working temperature
- Rotational Speed
- Connection Size/Type – Is it threaded or flanged?
- Number of passages
If you have any references on your current Rotary Union, this will come in handy for us.
Also, if you are unsure about any of the above information, if you can let us know the type of machine, e.g. laminator, printer etcetera it can help us identify the best Rotary Union.
Our Technical Team are on hand to help with any queries you may have and to help you find the best option for your application.
The Technical Team can be either by phone on +44 1926 423 191 or by email at technical@filtonltd.co.uk
