What we need to know!
Thursday 22nd August 2024
To help us help you there is some information which you can provide when contacting us.
If you are replacing an existing Filton joint you will find a label on your current joint which should have a part number and a serial number. A photo of this or these numbers will allow us to check which type of joint you have currently and therefore which you need to replace it.
If you are replacing a joint from a different company their part number will help but also the working conditions; see below.
If you need a joint for a new application we will also need the working conditions:
- Medium to be passed through the Rotary Union – This could be air, water, steam, oil, etc..
- Working pressure – Measured in either psi or bar
- Working temperature
- Rotational Speed
- Connection Size/Type – Is it threaded or flanged?
- Number of passages
- Type of machine
You can contact us either by phone on +44 1926 423191 or by emailing on sales@filtonltd.co.uk
Our Technical Team are on hand to help with any queries you may have and to help you find the best option for your application.
The Technical Team can be contacted either by phone on +44 1926 423 191 or by email at technical@filtonltd.co.uk
