What is a Rotary Union?
A Rotary Union, also referred to as a Rotary Joint, is a device that connects rotating equipment to fixed piping for the transfer of medium. Check out our previous blog ‘What is a Rotary Union?’
How do I choose?
This will depend on what the working conditions of your application are.

What if your standard Rotary Unions don’t fit my specification?

What if I have a Union that isn’t Filton?
We can look at replacing this with our nearest equivalent as we only manufacture our own products.
Do you offer kits to repair?
We can supply kits and parts separately if you wish to repair/refurbish one of our Unions.
We do also offer a repair service, where you can send your Union to us and we will strip it to identify any components which need replacing or refurbishing. We would then quote you for the cost of the repair.
Where is your manufacturing site?
Our factory is based in Leamington Spa, United Kingdom.

How do I know if I need a right hand or left-hand Union?
Firstly, you will need to determine the rotation of your roll. When looking at the roll end if it is rotating anti-clockwise you will require right hand thread. If it is rotating clockwise you will require left hand. On the rare occasion that it can rotate both ways, we can look at other options. Unsure on what we need, can someone visit?
Yes, we will always try our best to assist you remotely. Sometimes it is better for someone to visit.
We have an Account Manager based here in the UK who visits our customers.
How much is carriage?
For customers in the UK there is no additional charge.
For our customers abroad we can send you a quotation for the cost of freight.
Do your products come with a warranty?
All of our products come with a 12-month warranty from the date of despatch (subject to inspection).
